Academic Papers
This section lists academic papers that describe techniques that seem promising for creative work. These can range from artistic effects in computer graphics to novel 3D scanning or computer vision approaches to ways of processing or generating 3D geometry for fabrication.
There are many places to find such papers on the web. We use Mendeley, a collaborative research platform, to collect the ones that might be useful to creative artists and designers. Join us there, in the Makematics Mendeley Group, to contribute to that effort. Beneath, we also list a few additional compendia that collect massive numbers of other papers that might be of interest.
